Yealink has developed the End-of-Life (EOL) policy outlining practical guidelines for the product lifecycle, with the purpose of providing customers a clear understanding of the lifecycle of our products and/or services to help customers make a smooth transition to EOL to maintain the normality and reliability of their operating environments.

Scope

The End-of-Life Policy comes into effect on 11 April 2024.This policy does not affect all previously published notices regarding EOL.

Yealink End-of-Life Policy applies only to Yealink's products, including Teams Room System, Zoom Room System, H.323/SIP Room Endpoint,Room System Accessories, Room Scheduling, USB Cameras & BYOD Kits, Teams Phone and IP Phone. Consistent with such standards policy, Yealink will continue to offer support and after-sale service.

There may be special End-of-Life clauses included in individual agreements covering the supply of such products, which will apply specifically to the provisions of the individual agreement.

Definition

End-of-Life (EOL) refers to the final stage of the product or service existence, indicating that it has reached the end of its operational or functional lifespan. It signifies the conclusion of the entity's usefulness, and typically involves the cessation of support, maintenance, or production, as well as the implementation of appropriate disposal or decommissioning processes.

End-of-Sale (EOS) refers to the point in time when a product or service is no longer available for purchase from Yealink and provider. It signifies the end of the product's commercial availability and marks the transition to a new phase in its lifecycle.

End-of-Support (EOST) refers to the date when a product or service is no longer provided with official technical assistance, updates, or security patches by Yealink. It signifies the end of the company's commitment to maintain and support the product. After the EOL date, customers may still continue to use the product, but theytypicallywill no longer receive official support or updates from the manufacturer.

Policy

End-of-Life Milestones:

1)  For any product or service planned for End-of-Life (EOL), Yealink will typically issue an End-of-Sale (EOS) announcement six (6) months prior to the date of cessation of sales, which will state the date of cessation of sale, after which date you will no longer be able to purchase the relevant product or servicefrom Yealink.

2)  No more than six (6) months after the official release of End-of-Sale (EOS) announcement, Yealink will issue an End-of-Life (EOL) announcement, which will state the date of End-of-Support (EOST). In the announcement Yealink will no longer provide any support after the date.

* Such announcements will appear on the Yealink Website:www.yealink.com/en/onepage/end-of-life-policy

End-of-Support Milestones:

1)  For the first year after the End-of-Sale (EOS) date, Yealink will offer full End-of-Support (EOST), including HW/SW Technical Support, Apply Existing SW Bug Fixes, New Non-Critical SW Bug Fixes, New Critical SW Bug Fixes and New Security Fixes.

2)  During the second to fifth year after the End-of-Sale (EOS) date, Yealink will attempt to provide SW bug fixes. During this period, a SW upgrade of the product to a newer existing release will also be seen as a fix to the SW bug. Providing a fix may not be possible in some cases due to the limitation of hardware or software architecture, and Yealink in its sole discretion will determine what fixes, if any, will be provided.

3)  Yealink will not offer any New Features/Enhancements support after End-of-Life (EOL).

4)  Spares or replacement parts for hardware will be available depending on your local distributors. Please contact your local Yealink distributors for HW Technical Support and HW Repair and Return (subject to inventory availability). The local Yealink distributors will provide you the corresponding HW support in accordance with Yealink Return Materials Authorization (RMA) process.
